Not sitting on the sofa with us didn't last long I now have a spaniel sprawled over me. Bless

Now that's one sweet little Spaniel! Nice one Ips. I'll show my wife those pictures in a minute, but I already know what her reaction will be. Your dog has 2 fans already. Keep us posted with your progress (good and bad!).

Can we adopt her as The Shootclay Dog?

Guess Mrs ips has not whined and howled for a long time l.o.l.

Nice one IPS she looks a little gem, hope you have fun training her and keep us posted on her progress .. the dog I mean

First night

Put eze in her cage at 11 wined for 5 mins barked for 5 mins then nothing. Got up for comfort break at 4-30 let her out for comfort break she did a little one then I chucked her back in. Much barking ensued sounded like hounds of the baskervilles. Mrs ips informed me she had a headache, I was wide awake so I got up at 5. Doggie got quite confident now and considers eating the remote control to be jolly good fun.

Ha ha

Still think she is great though. Ha.

Think your right Robert I am now second class citizen in the eyes of Mrs ips and the ruddy dog ;)

Can't believe how good she has been as until Sat she had never been in a house and until wed she hadn't been touched by anyone other than the dog whisperer bloke, ever. I know nothing about dogs but I reckon she is one special doggie.

Ps

A big thank you to Salopian for all his help and advice by email he had to endure many stupid questions and helped me to make the right decision. It turns out that Peter is a man of many talents including gun dogs.

Cheers Peter

Aw she's absolutely gorgeous, looks like a proper working cocker

Red ink is generally considered good

FTW - Field Trial Winner

FTCH - Field Trial Champion

Lovely dog Ian, I hope you have many happy years with her, keep us up to date with her progress, but remember not to rush anything

Ok I got six of the FTCH jobs is that better than a FTW?

Will do Ashley going to give her a few weeks as I don't think she fully knows her name yet. Quick little beggar though fetches and gives in the house already and sits for her bowl. I think she knows more than me instinctively.
