PS 23 FTCh in our boy's pedigree

Phil

My cert only shows three generations. When I change ownership on Monday I will pay the extra eighteen quid for the five generation fancy cert one and see how many of these FTCH things she really has :)

What the KC name of your dog? there's plenty of way's to get a five generation pedigree without paying that much for it.

You can register for a free myKC account which will list her pedigree back a fair way. I paid the extra money though because I wanted a pretty certificate.

Thanks Mrs Bryn. Think I want a pretty cert as well :)

I cannot believe some peoples tightness. £7 a box of cartridges , last about 30 minutes if you are lucky, and you buy thousands of them!

£18 for your best friends birth certificate, lasts at least ten years and you begrudge paying it ?????????????

IPS, you may wish to know that dogs are known to respond better to to the eee sound on the end of their name when being called back to return .

Hence we have lots of dogs called Monty, Benji, Milly , Tilly , Bobby, Purdey , Bossy etc.

So it may be a good idea to call EZ , Eezy by name to assist in recall

Peter

I Think I didn't write my first post properly it's spelt eze but the village is pronounced ez we however are spelling it eze but pronouncing it ezey as Lynn thought it sounded nicer.

My fault sorry. Thanks for the info it seems are name is good by accident not good management.

Cheers.

Update

Couple of tough nights she didn't settle in crate very well so endured much barking and howling.

Last night decided to take action. Put her in cage in kitchen at ten Lynn and I sat watching TV in lounge after two mins she starts howling I go in and just say "shh" loud and stern then leave two mins later she barks I go in and do same thing she stops. Same scenario once more she stops then not a peep out of her all night. I get up at 6 am let her out the back and can report no accidents in cage.

A good result I think. Not counting too many chickens but it worked last night. She seems to respond very well to a "no" or on this case a "shh"

Regarding Pedigree thing.

I got the framed 5 year jobbie, 25 quid at the time...very nice though.

Yes its cheaper if you order it when you register or change owner, apparently.

She's a little beauty mate.

Remember, dogs are creatures of habit, that's how they learn. Just be paitent and consistent and she'll pick stuff up.

Enjoy!

Update

Fourth night same scenario as third night but only one "shh" required then not a peep. And no accidents in cage.

She is a clever girl.

Ps

Lynn bought her a barbour type coat to keep her warm and dry on walks.

Pps

She has adopted an area of our back garden that is gravel as her toilet spot. After I have scooped it up is there a safe product to dilute in a watering can in order to disinfect the area ?
