FBlack Sporting through U3's does the trick for me; thoroughly impressed from the first time I used them.

Looking forward to trying the FBlack fibres this week at MCSC.
Just tried the F Black fibres. Well impressed.

A friend of mine recently bought a thousand of these based on our club shooting a few thousand of these over the summer,  he opened the first slab for the Grange Farm shoot on the 22nd,  out of the 100, 12 just popped and left the barrels dirty, Ive emailed

Fiocchi UK with the batch numbers and am waiting a reply

Can you pm me the batch numbers and details of the man who bought them with a contact number or email address.

Thanks.

Tryed fblue and top 1 and really no diff in kills close or at range through my mk 38 trap!

Gona keep using top 1s as fairly cheap !

This would do nothing for one's confidence at a shoot if your shells are c***!

For all the hype these get this is another disappointing report.

In 18 months I have had one shell with a missing primer which was from an Eley First having shot those, Comp X, Diana's and Trusts which were all fine and all at the low end of the price range.

Robert can I suggest you don't read the Eley Olympic thread either or you will be equally disappointed .....and New Year is coming up...!!

I had read about the Eley's Olympics but they get nothing like the endless hype that Fiocchi get on here so it does not seem to be so bad!

the list of hull users is endless across all disciplines and let the results do the talking

Quality always gets hype when people love them.....just saying

However always shoot the shells you like.....then 'you' will be happy......true story

I personally think that Fiocchi are getting an unfair amount of free advertising on this website because a good number of the most vocal contributors to these pages are either sponsored or get good discounts from Fiocchi stockists.

The fact is that there are hardly any bad cartridges on the market nowadays.

Find a cartridge that you like , can afford, and are in stock locally , easily obtainable and just get out shooting.

Yesterday for some completely unknown reason I had three Eley Olympics out of a sealed box that appeared to have been previously struck on the primer????????

What do I do? Absolutely nothing, Eley will disclaim such an incident could ever happen, it possibly cost me 48P, half the price of a cup of coffee.

So let's bring this free publicity to an end Fiocchi by virtue of the fact that they are being touted on here are having far more failures and quality issues than others that we are not hearing about.

If you want a QUALITY cartridge , buy and use Clever Mirage, RC, Hull, Express, Eley Superbs or ViP's .

Possibly in that order of quality although I do have to say that I have never had a single issue or failure whilst using Express Supremes  in Clay or Game configuration in nigh on thirty years of usage.

I shot the F Black Fibres on Sunday for the first time.

I'll double check my barrels before I shoot this morning, but I don't recall noticing any crap in the tubes when I put my gun away.

The F Black Fibres have sold very well, I've not received anything other than positive comment and repeat business.

On another note on Christmas Eve I sold one of the Bernardelli Mega Sporting semi automatics to Adam Woods.

Yesterday I received a telephone call from him telling me that he'd won the Boxing day competition at his club, something that he's not previously achieved; and yes, he was shooting Fiocchi cartridges, Top 1s if anyone is still interested.

This post is not free advertising, but honest reporting of actual facts which have been witnessed by others.

Most forums have a facility to block posts made by selected forum users, if the cap fits wear it.

I cannot see any point in blocking or ignoring posts on a forum .

Far better to discuss and put over your point of view, that is what a forum is, a discussion vehicle.

Honest reporting of actual facts is the fact that Fiocchi are no better or worse than many other cartridges, it is everyone's choice what they purchase and use .

I stopped buying Fiocchi's due to the "light strikes" and failure to fire but there was nothing else really wrong with them. I'm now shooting RC's and Express when I have to use fibre wads.

NO misfires at all and a happy shooter.

Awwww didums do.

What a load of crap .....but to be expected on here nowadays.

People who shoot Fiocchi....it seems ....cannot now talk about how good they are without it being 'spouted' about by others in a negative way.

Ah hahahahaha if you think Fiocchi need advertisement you are barking mad.... they are a massive global business. The UK means diddly squat in the big picture.

I always say shoot what makes you happy ....and what makes me happy......is the fact that all the vocal Richard Cranium's on here don't want to shoot them.... That gives me soooooo much pleasure....!

And when I see the now obligatory whine ..... I just think.... Ah hahahahaha ......they are off again..! Please lord....don't give em a passport..!

I'm not sponsored by Fiocchi nor do I get any special deals on them. I shoot them because I always seem to shoot just that little bit better with them.I also like the fact that after putting 100 of them through my gun I don't have to spend half an hour trying to get the leading out of my barrels when I arrive home.

As for reliability I did have one misfire with a TT2 fibre which left a wad up the barrel but I have also had this happen with Eley First and Rio.

I agree with Salopian that there are few if any poor cartridges out there these days, it's really a matter of having confidence in what you're using.

Yawnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Getting out of bed now...no more time to play with all you nice people....sun is out.....time to go and put your favourite shells (whatever they are) in your favourite gun (whatever it us) and shoot them at something (whatever it may be).....instead of carping on about how bad others choices are.

Have fun people.... be happy....I am sure 'some' of you can ...if you just tried a bit harder

what is crap about the previous post? Is it because he disagrees with you? Surely a forum is for all people to contribute with their view without fear of childish replies/insults. The previous posts are not 'whines' but shared experiences by people who have used various cartridges. We have discussed at length about great advertisements for the sport, your post is not one and is likely to put people off contributing on here...... Maybe that is what you would like?

Here we go again...I have not disagreed with what he shoots with...he can shoot a potato gun for all I care filled with Rock salt.....

You are getting over emotional again For what ever reason. You fly in and are always selective in the posts i make. But if thats what floats your boat then fine.

So as I have said in many of my posts.....'Shoot what make 'you' happy'.....it is 'your' money ...spend it how you want....simple really.

Each time someone has mentioned a problem with a Fiocchi cartridge I have asked them to send me the details by pm so it can be checked out. Don't see any one from Eley asking the same on the Eley problem thread..! Do you.

However it has become apparent that not all people can send the info to either me or Fiocchi UK because when it came down to it...they had only heard of a story ...or...they did not get in touch with batch numbers. Always happy to help...but need batch numbers....not just 'a mate of mine had this problem don't know where or when..etc etc'.

There is then other information that is asked.....if the person does contact me or Fiocchi.

The last time the batch was recalled. Not heard if Eley have recalled their problem batch.

Anyone who has had a problem and has let us know has had their cartridges changed. It is not a problem.

Many people on here declare their fondness for Gamebore, Beretta , and goodness knows what else......yet that seems to be ok......

Salop positively raves about Mirokus.....but that seems to be ok........

However mention Fiocchi....or Perazzi and for some reason out of the woodwork jumps all sorts of people with comments whether they shoot them or not...and I am not sure why this happens....?

Yet both of these two companies are internationally successful each year and win many medals every year...and the big ones in the Olympics....so they smile a lot.

I have even had some on here pm me to say how much they like Fiocchi after trying them but dare not mention it on the main board. I think that is a shame so I tell them 'speak your mind....why should you have to hide your opinion from others. I don't, it does not matter if someone slates your opinion, you do not know them, will probably never meet, so what does it matter

Can we please remember that the sport has room for everyone and everyone's opinions. No one forces their opinions on anyone else...they simply give their view. If you don't like it then don't use the products you do not like....but equally don't stop others from using them or liking them either.

Simples.

Now Nick....I have never met you and you have never met me...so I have no idea if you are a nice man or not and vice versa....so...

Can i wish you a lovely New Year Nick.....with lots of rub downs for 2014 so you can continue get plenty of money to further your shooting career...and be totally happy and successful with whatever combination you end up with.

xx
