Maria,

One good dog out of nine is not bad for a beginner .

Springers, Cockers & Sprockers are a joy but it really is great to have the love and affection given to you that only a Lab can do.

although technically she isn't old enough to have a lab. ....?

All ours work, the lab and one springer are retired

so we have 2 years to train our pups...

Maria,

 Why two years?

Are they genetically modified by IPS and thus slow learners?????

Once had a Cocker that won her first Trial aged 11 months.

Rolo my two year old learned to drive aged 7 months and got a Phd before he was 1. Bloody knowall, but I love them all .

Well maybe not 2 years.. we have a springer who has just turned 2 and this will be her first full season out

My favourite pic of the year so far.

Apart from my own boy of course. Just in case he reads this!

Here are my 2 pups, the liver cocker is now a bit older than she is in the picture

Eze in her Xmas scalf, nothing to do with me it was lynn that dressed up my working dog ?

My (our) two dogs.

The one on the left is the retriever (he loves that, he is to lazy to flush/point). The one one the right is brilliant at flushing, usable to retrieve but that is not hos strong suit. The are both a mix of 3/4 labrador and 1/4 Danish pointer. And lovely family dogs to. I don't hunt, I just help our my mates that do (and thus giving the dogs the activity when training and hunting).
