Post the date and I will see if I can make it before the 2.1.12.Elvis hope you are coming..........I need the tips :)))))

me and chipper shot....(at)....it today, and we really lost our way, wind did play it's part in our down fall,to such an extent that we shot at the pattern plate 3 times to check are guns were shooting where we were looking /wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-surprised.gif don't think we missed much behind or underneath/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-confused.gif/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-confused.gif but it was one of those odd shoots where you could blitz a pair then miss the next ??? lot of targets stalling at the kill point, easy to over run. std 7 the most consistent, the grouse does you no favours if your not 6ft tall and has been wound up and lowered from last year.I think we may have been even worst off if we had started on std 1 it was out of clays and batteryless when we started...thank god. we did finish there though first bird no probs and I mullered the midi with JPM 7 ....BUT that was the only one of them I hit ????? (the only one our squad hit) top tip if you can don't start there, it's tricky enough with out a bad start, choose a day with a North wind not a Westerlyoverall it's OK but with terrain as good as they have there I thought it lacked a bit of punch .....73 for two of us and 69 for chipper but in his defence 3 hrs sleep after a night shift not the best prep, we agreed to see how it shoots next month score wise before a return visit......

What's the general feeling regarding the handicap system used so far?Any ringers out there yet?Whats leading so far? Glen.

Early days, but I think this is a tricky old course. 93 with handicap has always put you in the final. This year, I speculate that 90-91 might do it.. CSC3

Feb 2nd afternoon still on? Not sure I can manage next week... but up for joining a group after CPSA @ Churchills...

At least it seems like the handicap system they use works! Although EJ Churchills was a nice round the handicapping system was a bit laughable to say the least! /wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif

Oh I don't know Glen :))))))) a 55 handicap showed exactly how crap I am :)))))))Hahahahaha!!
