If they can fit you in for the time you want they will.. Last year I rang an hour before; it just depends..CSC3

Clever how many targets will I get in the handicap you reckon? i only shot 100 registered sporting in the last classifications?? Glen.

Hi.No CPSA handicap for you (need 500) so they will award you an avergae on the day , from secret stands. Usually it seems about right, but cant be calculated now. Matt Hance hit a 94 last year!!! He had to have an RBSS handicap too; which was 0!CSC3

Pot luck then in my case maybe if I am back sometime before it ends can have a sneeky go then /wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-wink.gif/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-wink.gif/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-wink.gif/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-wink.gif/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-wink.gif

Thanks Clever that's handy to no just in case i get a last min day off work or take one/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-wink.gif

I had a second go today, in the company of my wife, plus Nicola and Banger. An enjoyable round of course. Nicola put in a great first go (for a trappie/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif). Banger and my Mrs. were a few down on their first attempts. My performance was a bit better than my first go, on a 74 (plus 11). Today summed up the course for me, as I hit between 6 and 8 on every stand; which tallies with my opinion that every stand is a real challenge, but nothing is crazy hard. I reckon I need another 5-7 for a place in the final.. Cheers,CSC3

You and Banger shot really well. Like you say it is all there for the taking, but it is a clever entertaining course and you need to keep the concentration going. I cannot decide to go gun down or gun up, so will have to have a few more goes. Gun up at sporting is much more tiring than gun down and has shown me how unfit I am. The grouse has to be gun down or you do not see them. I liked the grouse although I buggered it up /wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif

Clever is that 5-7 targets or goes round the course /wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-wink.gif/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-wink.gifWell your going the right way anyway, unlike me. Was also nice to meet your wife and Nicola today.Probably give it one more go in 2-3 weeks. its there to be done but doing it is another matter.banger

Looking at the scores, this shoot is proving tough. Only 3 people have bettered 82 so far! My lowly 74 has only been beaten by 13 people. (None of the above includes handicap) Studying the scores sheet is a bit addictive../wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-confused.gif CSC3

Alex Cobb has put a 93 + 4 handicap putting him on top with 97 Looking at the scores he shot well for that

long way for this to go yet,but late 80s including handicap might be enough to qualifyquite a few good shooters struggling so far.

I'm looking forward to having a go next week... My Issue 41 CPSA adjust avg was 51 - that should help a bit.

Alex Cobb did that just after I posted.. Stonking!! His first go was 81, so huge improvement. Chris Childerhouse is another who is hitting fewer on subsequent attempts.. Matt, your average is 55.8, not 51. That will still give you a h/c of 25. Cheers,CSC3

That CPSD thing is lying to me then... I'll still take it... So anything near my recent scores (67, 70, 70) will put me in amongst it... what a laugh! From what I'm hearing, I'll be lucky - but really looking forward to giving it a whirl anyway.

I am hoping to get there at some point next week /wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-smile.gif

CPSD gives your running average for your own amusement and progress monitoring, i.e. it is up to date from last weekend. (Although in your case that still sounds very wrong, or maybe the previous issue?)RBSS take your stated average at last classification, i.e Dec 1st.Warning: Most folk find this tougher than a regular registered shoot! CSC3

I am buggered if I can find the scores!!!The RBSS page goes to another where I can see 'top60' and 'all score' but it is fixed screen and cannot click it???? DUR!! Can someone send me a link.

And in case anyone says the link has been posted ........I have tried that as well and it is a frozen screen ......this happens on Iphone, Ipad and laptop.........any ideas teckies???

Looking forward to having a bash at this.. Just looked at CPSD and my issue 41 average is 56% but I only shot 100 reg'd ESP... 1100 ESK .. Matt, when are you shooting it? Jon.
