Shooting in bad weather...yes or no?

Looks like it's going to be pretty horrid weather wise at Southdown tomorrow. Although I'd rather shoot in the dry I'm still going to shoot tomorrow and planning on knuckling down whatever the weather.

There is a big difference to shooting in the cold and rain, in winter, for the sake of shooting and shooting a team qualifier, major or championship in unfortunate harsh weather!!!

There's a bigger difference shooting for the sake of shooting any time of year to shooting with a purpose ;)
Naff weather is naff weather; some can learn to cope with it, whatever the occasion.

No...snow, ice and howling wind is not naf, it's sh*t, keep telling yourself your learning and having fun...

The way I see it.

Shooting in bad weather prepares you for that unfortunate team qualifier, major or championship in harsh weather. It won't come as too much of a shock if you have to shoot under those conditions and may give you the edge over those who have not. Learning to hit the bad/uncomfortable targets makes the easy ones easier. As long as the targets are flying as they should then its game on.

We have 12 inches of snow and expect another 8 to 10 tonight. Temperatures are running 9 degrees F (-12 c) during the day and -3 f (-20 c) tonight!

I've decided not to shoot the tournament tomorrow. Many will still show up with HEATED golf carts, but it's still cold shooting in those temps with a brisk wind.

I use to go out in the worst conditions, but hopefully, I'm growing wiser with age..

I can't wait for the Seminole cup in Florida in Feb.!!!

I've shot in all weathers and used to go out regardless but I'm probably get old and more content because I keep looking at the weather map on the phone and nothing would get me to go out and play in the rain that is forecast for today
