As the countries most successful shooter (as well as the most successful medalist) Mick Gault would come way above George Digweed when it comes to awarding knighthoods.

As far as I am aware Mick's performance has not been bettered when it comes to medals won from many Commonwealth Games but he has never been able to cut it on the world stage and I suspect that a knighthood would require a number of Olympic Gold medals like Sir Steve Redgrave.
