A huge C class entry won on 72 is unusual Phil, as you well know. Well shot today yourself. I’ll check my diary! Still a bit far.. but who knows.. cheers.

I’m an hour the other South east side of AGL.. So many good shoots for me without driving to nearly Denmark.Barrow & Eriswell C class previously won on 72,74/75.so about right !!!..took me 1hr 2o mins from Barrow to AGL today.....how is that too far !!......
Im with Hammy on this, there are shots that can do such often, we've all seen them, they are different gravy form the masses, that should not dilute ones appreciation of their effortsI reckon 95 is pretty special anywhere, particularly if you happen to be the only one doing it out of a big field.
last c class winner at eriswell was a 67 according to the cpsa website (as i read it)And Phil, the last shoots at Barrow and Eriswell have been won in C class with 78, 78, 76, 82 and 77. So not sure where you get your numbers from and 72 at AGL does seem tough as I first stated..

185 Entries and only 3 people hit more than 90. It was a good shoot (mostly) but if I were running the ground, I would have pitched it a touch kinder to C class, which only takes tweaking of two stands usually.I reckon 95 is pretty special anywhere, particularly if you happen to be the only one doing it out of a big field.
Will, there is an Eriswell shoot in December, C class won with a 67,
Yes, there appears to have been 3 shoots at eriswell since the one quoted, i shot 2 of them and they were challenging i would suggest, not that i am greatly experiencedWill, there is an Eriswell shoot in December, C class won with a 67,
I too went to Horne but at about 2pm. Heartily sick of eyesight tests.Just home from Horne. Shot it from 12 down. Started quite patchily on the first half dozen stands, sloppy misses after first pair kills etc. Swing didn't feel smooth on the crossers today either. Anyway, picked up on the lower half of the course to finish on a 75, which was better than I expected to be on after the first six stands I shot.
Orange quartering in followed by the teal on Stand 6? There were a few others that weren't easy to see as well.I too went to Horne but at about 2pm. Heartily sick of eyesight tests.
Both Tony and I struggled with 10 of the Targets simply by not seeing them clearly. It wasn’t a hard shoot if you could see them. I’m just getting very tired of it. It really doesn’t have to be like that to catch you out. It’s the wrong time of year not to use the coloured clays effectively.Orange quartering in followed by the teal on Stand 6? The left to right crossers on 9 were difficult to see early and for some reason I was seeing the orange quartering away looper on 7 quite late as well. Wasn't brilliant light today, but you're right several targets weren't great. Both Tony and I struggled with 10 of the Targets simply by not seeing them clearly. Will, dont know where you see only 3 shooters in the 90's..i counted 8 including 3 in A class.tho they all come from East Anglia...must be the water !!!!..........185 Entries and only 3 people hit more than 90. That was possibly the one that had three stands made very difficult by the sun. Will, there is an Eriswell shoot in December, C class won with a 67,
WillHs post said “more than 90” and the on AGL web scores are indeed only three such scores showing, one being my county mucker Nick Portlock who is AAA, unsure of the others, as before 90+ scores are earned not given and should be lauded not derided,Will, dont know where you see only 3 shooters in the 90's..i counted 8 including 3 in A class.tho they all come from East Anglia...must be the water !!!!..........
BTW...........Thank god that you arent running the ground, eh ?? .all AA would be shooting 100+ out of 100 ha ha
Over & out.. :bye:
