I know this isn't the right place but does anyone know of any 100 sporting shoots on this weekend other then kegworth and Horne, that's all I can see on the Cpsa site and I don't have Facebook so struggle to keep up to date with some of the grounds that mainly use that. 

Is Weston wood or west fields on?

Steve Lovatt is running a two day England selection fitasc at Garlands so no and why is the answer to the Westfield and WestonWood question, there is a 100 reg at SW2000 if your based in the western part of country, otherwise it is rather sparse

Managed to get the morning off work so went to AGL. Was a tidy course but a few were wind affected like the grouse butt so was happy to drop just the 1 in there. Shot pretty well compared to recently. Was on for a PB of 89 but dropped 3 on the final stand after hitting the first pair L Cant grumble at an 86 though.

Dartford have Greater London All Round on both Sat and Sun but you need to book in.

Watch out for the cycle event that is on in the general area as they close off some of the roads that go to Southdown and divert you.

Good round today at eriswell I shot 82 which looking at the scores was not bad. For me.

Did not manage to get out at the weekend due to other commitments. Looking ahead to this weekend there does not seem to be much on at all (Reg ESP) except Southdown. Are there any others comps on Sat/Sun in the Berks/Bucks/Hants area?

100 ESP Reg at Barrow Heath for the Les King memorial cup & 25 sportrap pool shoot................just a hour up the M11/A11

Many rate it as one of the best grounds in the country.....so ive heard !!!

3 of the top 6 at Kelmarsh are regulars, so must mean something ??

Yeah saw that but still over a 100 miles. I like my shooting but not enough to do a 4hr round trip just for a registered. Especially coming back on the M25 on a Sunday lunchtime - its bad enough coming back from Horne normally.

Mine too.  Horne is the nearest to me at around 50 miles.  Southdown and Greenfields are similar distances but take longer to get to because the A27 and A28 are mostly sh*te.  On Thursday I shall be doing just under 100 miles to Churchills, including the worst bit of the M25 (M23 round to the M4 is always clogged, especially the bit around the A3/M3 at the moment).

I'd love to do more Registered shoots, but I'm really not up for six or seven hours driving in a day to do them.

Same for Phil and I, an hour for Southdown, hour and half for Greenfields, at least that and more for Churchills.  We ventured to Barrowheath last month, it was certainly worth the trek, but can only do on the Sunday's where you don't have to rush back because the Dartford bridge (or anywhere on M25) is always going to hold you up no matter what time of day or night.  

On our first attempt at shooting about 20 years ago we loved fitasc and travelled all over the country.  Every Sunday we would either be at Southern Counties, Wyle (Cyril's) or go up north to Keith Roes or Joe Nevilles.  Loved it but I do the M25 every day and cannot be dragged on in on my day off to sit for hours and hours, and then shoot and have to do the return journey.  I wish there were more "good" shoots within an hour or so.

I'll say it again, just to annoy people. I shoot 17 registered grounds all within 75 mins drive with no traffic. ?
