Me and the husband joined the CPSA in November.  Proceeded to go to our first ever registered shoot in December.  Both gave our CPSA number, it was written in the book and we were handed cards for unclassified shooters.  We went round and both performed abysmally, but dutifully handed our cards in. They weren't easy to read as it had been raining and one of the scorers was using a felt pen that just created a big illegible blur.

I was then excitedly checking the CPSA scores daily until they came up.  My score was listed, husbands wasn't.  OK, thought it might just have been an omission.  Three weeks ago he got a snotty letter from the CPSA telling him off for not handing his card in.  He promptly got on the phone, told them we had both handed our cards in and they are supposedly looking into it with the ground.  Not heard anything more from them yet.

If we don't get a response, probably won't bother renewing our memberships and we'll just go and do the odd registered shoot as birds only.  Bit disappointing really.
Happened to me, got a snotty letter from CPSA, sent them a snotty email, telling them any more snotty letters and I'll join the BASC got no reply, been two weeks.

This was from a shoot before Christmas. They forget who pays their wages its us the members.

If I shoot a good card which occasionally happens I photograph it with phone as I have had instances where I have left a shoot early and the scores are different on their websites to what was on my card.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that photographs their card.
I do it to beat myself up all week.

Bebo,

         How the rules work.

Enter registered shoot, if you have a bad stand or two discretely alter your score.

By discrete I mean don't go from C class to A class scores immediately , progress slowly , picking up prize money on the way. Don't worry too much about the Master card , this is only used if you beat someone and they protest because they saw you shoot poorly.

Eventually after altering enough score cards you will gain respect because everyone knows your a good shot , because they have seen your scores in the magazines regularly.

You can of course buy two cards , shoot one and get the different referees signatures and pen / pencil colours , then wait until near the end of the shoot , sit in your car and complete the class winning card, hand in making sure that not enough time is left for anyone to go round and beat your score.

Once you are in AA and accepted as an Ace you can then cheat at National events such as The British , don't worry about protests, we wouldn't want to bring the Sport into disrepute would we?

Of course all the above may be fictitious ! Allegedly.

Wow

If the above is doable then wow
