Here's a rarer one. Removeable, flat spring and selector

I had one of those if you recall. Dropped it into my gun at Bisley (EO ABT 2013) before the first round (just to see if it would fit) and then couldn't get the b*stard back out again so had to shoot it all weekend.

Had to remove the stock to get it out some time later.

Sold it on a year or so ago to John Nightingale.

Ho hum.

Yes you tap them out with a dowel of wood. Each one is hand fitted [again] so you need a smith with some smoke black to make them interchangeable. Done that. ^_^

There is a version that doesn't engage with the locking lug. They're often seen lying on the concrete by the shooter's foot.

What with Perazzis being a semi-custom / sort of production gun there is always a potential issue of direct interchangeability.  BFD.  Fitting triggers properly is an unfortunate area where people who should not attempt it do.  There are, unfortunately, four points on the housing that need all to touch at the same time AND have the lock engage properly.  And there are a couple other things about the biz as well.  Just another drawback of the simplicity of a great competition gun design that instills confidence in the unworthy to attempt what they should not.

I was not aware that any Perazzi part was rare, and certainly not triggers.  If you need one here's a start and most certainly far from the single source.  They abound on a number of classified and auction sites.

"A variety of Perazzi trigger groups are readily available such as standard, selective, adjustable, selective and adjustable, coil spring or leaf spring trigger groups. Please contact us at [email protected] or 315-336-1356 for current Perazzi inventory. "

Does it really matter ?

This thread was started to point out that we are all in search of the Holy Grail.

Interestingly enough at yesterday's Cheshire Shield , which is seen by many to be a season opener '[Big One' the HG was using a very well used Guerini, the second overall was using a well used and often abused Miroku and third was using what many have commented on as being a worn out useless Guerini Summit.

I can assure you that both Guerini's and the Miroku only had worn out users.

Both myself and my Summit may be classed as worn out but it still shot a 91 at Hodnet and a 90 at Oakedge yesterday. hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
