It's a bit hit or miss!!! The beat we are going to is fishing well, so long as the water hasn't burst it's banks one of the three of us should catch fish.......

To be honest, you can't believe catch returns!!! On the a lot of places you have to return your first fish.......guess what......whenever a bailiff asks anyone if they have caught anything? Yes, 1 is the reply!!! 50% of the people who do catch anything chap them, hide the fish and say they caught nothing!!!

I was shooting in the scottish borders last November at Hawick went down to the weir ( river Teviot) there was a fair few salmon going over but no where near what we used to see back about 20 years ago,and the locals said last year was better than previous years

Martin, I'm really not sure about that, although I know you said you checked. I shot a 69 there in June, but I'm sure I went B/O then - can't really remember. The only other times I've shot it were with a 65 and 50 something. My name doesn't appear on any of the results on the website either. Confused..... :wacko:
