    Score uploads to the CPSA

This is exactly what I have been given by Ray. Ray has only supplied me the information that he has available to him. I will update the Dartford website later tonight with the scores as supplied to me. EE 99970    96 EE 36413    96 EE 7027    92 EE 120309    90 EE 15004    90 EE 72679   ...

    Score uploads to the CPSA

I have "the scores" but all I have been given is the CPSA number and the overall score for each. I have not been supplied names, classes or anything else at the moment. I am chasing to try to get the additional information now. Would people rather me put what I have up in the meantime or wait...

    Anyone come across

I shoot one myself. Basically a grade 5 MK38 trap 32" with lengthened and polished forcing combs, Teague choke conversion and ported barrels. Mine has not got the recoil reducer. Best gun I have ever shot and would never dream of getting rid of it.

The Big Question 1 - Whose breakfast is best?

Another vote here for Dartford. Best breakfasts and you cannot fault the friendly service plus they always lay on an amazing free buffet after all the big shoots.

    Browning Warranty

Yes, I did, as soon as I got it home. Just looked and I still have the email Browning sent me as confirmation.

    Browning Warranty

Just after some advice from people in the know. I have been advised to send my 18 month old 525 Supersport (very similar to an ultra XS prestige but without adjustable comb) back to Browning to have several bits sorted out on it. Over the last few weeks, the forend has become slightly loose...

    extended ported chokes

Jon, Should be a few of us down there tomorrow, even the wife has the day off and has told me she is shooting too (there goes lads Friday.....). I will try to leave it as late as I can, probably start shooting around 10.30, as I have some business commitments I need to get away for after the...

    extended ported chokes

Jon, I would be interested to see how you get on with the Muller chokes as they look pretty good but I cannot seem to find any reviews on them anywhere.

    Cleaning

I would never use WD40 and leave it on the gun. I do use it down the barrels and leave it to soak for an hour or two and that's about it. As I said, it's good as a pre-clean/soak not for protecting.

    Cleaning

WD40 is great but there is a much cheaper option for pre clean. Look for something called DP60 on ebay, £2.99 delivered for 500ml and works just as well. Also instead of buying pre made patches, I bought one of the old style towel rolls (the material ones) on ebay for about £8. Should last me...

    glasses

As an ESK shooter I will always wear glasses, hearing protection and a hat whether it is just practice or registered/competition or even when I am refereeing. As an ESK referee, I would not allow anyone to shoot without at least glasses and hearing protection when I am refereeing a...

What do you do *Extreme Beginner Question*

Most people I see use shooting vests or cartridge pouches attached to a belt to hold their cartridges whilst shooting. Personally I have never got on with a vest so I bought a cartridge pouch that will hold 25 shells plus a few spares, you can get these anywhere from £10 up to £70-80 for the...

What do you do *Extreme Beginner Question*

Pretty much the same as Fuzrat but I use a rucksack. 250 in the car but I normally take 5 boxes with me in the rucksack because even if you do a round of 100 you may need a spare or two.

    hangfire

Unbelievable, I would not have thought that anyone involved with firearms of any type would look down the barrel of a known loaded gun to see what had gone wrong.

    prescription shooting specs

Same here, Top Gun Premier Plus glasses at around £25 and then sent the inserts off to Glasses Direct who charged me £25 for prescription lenses including delivery back to me, for the price I don't think you can beat them.

    Browning Firing Pins

Thanks for all the replies everyone. Seems to me like a common problem. I checked a few other peoples Browning/Miroku pins over the weekend and I would say that 80-90% of them are all suffering from the same "pitting" to one degree or another. These are all relatively new guns (less than 3...

    Browning Firing Pins

Thanks for pointing out the other topic Westward, couldn't find it for some reason. Thanks for the offer Berettaman, really do appreciate the offer. I am in Rochester, Kent, but I am quite happy to do them myself. I think I will just order some and keep them just in case and the minute I start...
