:hunter:  Well, have all the wannabees and big money shooters left for Dubai yet?

:hunter:  The dreamers who think they are going to win some money?
What? I'm sure more people are going to have a nice holiday, in the sun, in a nice place, with friends, and do a bit of shooting.

Not everyone is focused on winning the money.

the great thing about a shoot like this is if everything clicks and you shoot amazing maybe just maybe there is a chance of winning some dosh, but if  it all goes t#ts up the worst thing that can happen is you have a great holiday with friends that have a common bond(shooting).Anyone who shoots a comp and dose not finnish first is  a wannabe because we all want to win and only one will win.

Proud to be a wannabee, because if you dont wannabee something then your nothing.

The Who is Who of clay shooting will be there, a chance to meet great shooters from other countries and watch some great action and there is a chance you may cover your financial costs too, good type of dreaming if you ask me.

The World Fitasc C/ship in Portugal will be "a nice holiday in the sun in a nice place with friends and some shooting!" but how many of these will be in Portugal?

Put up enough Euro's.........................you never know, might get a thousand.

You,ve got to be in it to win it!

Think what the problem is here, is that at last a Fitasc Shoot has actually got some money on it to win,

You never know it might catch on :)

Who said I was going to Dubai to win money?
I'm going to shooting with my friends.
I am going to have a holiday with my friends.

You've slatted the championship from the start, not sure why?
What's the reason for you negativity?

No there are 76 shooters who will be in the money! the rest might as well enjoy the sunshine.

The reason for my negativity is the very poor information on this shoot! to you and some others its just the prize money, to me its the quality of the shoot, the organisation, who is training the referees, where is the list of competitors? where are the plans of the layouts, how many layouts, is it 3 pegs, 4 pegs or 5 peg layouts? etc etc., as someone who worked on 2 world fitasc c/ships I find the info poor!

You are not going so you have nothing to worry about.

Go to Portugal and enjoy.

As an aside did you know you had the bold button on?

Have you watched Groundhog Day with Bill Murray ? It is one fabulous film, guy keeps waking up in yesterday and has to relive the whole thing over and over and over again. The cure in the end turns out to be somewhat simple..................just learn to love................that and get his end away with Andie MacDowell. The stress just pours off him.

At the risk of stating the obvious, the negative comments from a grumpy old sod is the problem.

My old Mum always said, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything".

(I made an exception here...)

Stop picking on Guru....he has a point amongst the fake grumpy bits.....and nursery will be along soon with his meds...!!

I've always liked the way it's delivered in the Walt Disney Classic Bambi, it's the line a rabbit gives to its rather naughty offspring "Thumper" after it's teased the lead,

before I cop it, any passing reference to any aforementioned poster not intended

I don't know much about FITASC even though I been shooting sporting for years

I would just like to wish all the uk shooters the very best of luck, especially my boss ( previous welsh team captain) his daughter ( team GB member ) and her husband 2012 British open champion.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they brought a few quid home
