Tiptop, if that kind of irony were to fall from the sky, it would flatten the Himalayas! Love it!

OR HAS EVERYBODY JUST IMPROVED OVER THE YEARS.

You just said it,it took you two years to break the 80
Only at westfield, and the same AAA nnd AA shooters were about then just one winning score in the 90s each time,so don,t kid your self your the next GD cause your putting big scores in at soft shoots :p :p :p :p

Come the worlds

As it happens i shot 5.5% below my average on the sporting but 4% above my average in the sportrap so reasonably happy with that wouldn't class it as a disaster.

Your a good encouragement to everyone!

Looks like these easy shoots are a closely guarded secret nobody wants to let out where they are.

we don,t pass on this info easily, taken years to find these secret spots and we don,t want every tom, dick and harry turning up there shooting big scores,so find your own soft shoots. :p :p :p

Oh well of to bed early start tomorrow got to put a few vacuum pumps on the scanners.

Me thinks there's a few vacuum spaces on here at times  :) ;)

At the end of the day there are 100 targets out there that have to be shot. All of them. Lets not beat around the bush we want to be challenged, we dont want skeet or DTL but how many of the soft shoot brigade have shot 100 straight at these easy shoot straight at them grounds?

dont scrap the classes, just grade the payout

AA gets more than A more than B more than C.

there is still then the rewards but its more incentive to chase the rewards in a higher class.

so say HG plus a £1000 class payout be split £400 AA, £300 A, £200 B, £100 C. (remember the HG shouldnt be coming out of the class prize fund)

Try shugbororugh and Horne, there are two peaches for You! ;-)
Edd bit disapointed your giving away trade secrets here  :wink:Never been to Horne but can vouch for Shuggy,i shot there in May in A class shot a 94 which was only joint first in A class it was won on 98. Nerves got to me and missed 5 targets on my last 3 stands, drove from there with a large ego and hard on thinking where,s Georges phone no,gonna ring him and tell him to look out i,m gonna beat him next time we meet as i,m shooting 94s now, shoots ain,t easier i,m better over night  ;) :)

Bit laughable fuzzy when only last week you were calling Hornet 'Skeet in the Woods'!!!

:p :p :p :p

Sorry dont see how shooters who have not shot 100 straights and 99's at anything or high 90's at sporting or AA or AAA status can even have a view really.

When people start smashing high 80's and 90+ every week then maybe I will have a bit more respect for those who say a shoot was easy but I only shot 60 summin!

:D :D :D

I have to agree with you Glen.

Not talking about any specific person, just the standard comment that you hear often!

It was skeet in the woods or it was too easy are comments that always bring a smile to my face.

You can say this only if you are high 90's.

To say it as A, B, C, D, E, F, Z class shooters means that your head is not right and you are making excuses for a standard or poorer performance.

Just saying!

You can only get a true classification from mixing it up.

If your in the south east you dont have to travel too far though.

You should have a good steady shoot in there as well though like West Wycombe or A1 but even these can vary in difficulty from one extreme to the next so it is like a box of chocs you never know what your gunna get unless you go to horne then you know you need 98+ to win! ;-)

Northampton in my opinion has always been a tricky reg if you can shoot a good score there then you know you are doing ok as well. Saw that last weekend.

I take every shoot as a challenge.

When I walk away with a Straight I will be happy to say it was easy.

Until then I can always do better.
