Blimey! Was that a Croots slip? The original leather gunslip was just over a year in age - not good at all.

No I don't think so. To be honest Tony had bought it for me and I have no idea where it came from. The actual slip was lovely but obviously the zip was rubbish.Blimey! Was that a Croots slip?
Yes, try Phil OgdenRight, research has been done and I've had to go and lie down at some of the prices being charged for a leather gun slip. Following much research I've decided I'm going to get one of those handy Hamilton things with the funky legs.
Only kidding. Croots has won my heart. They do a leather slip with strap and handles and without a top buckle (annoying!). The question I have for you now: is anyone doing something comparable that I've missed?

What you need to compliment your new slip is a Croots cartridge bag in dark Havana leather... and it just so happens I have a brand new, totally unused one for sale

UPDATE:Quick update on this.
I have ordered a new slip from Phil Ogden, it's being made to order and should be with me in about 10 days or so. I will try to remember to post my thoughts and a picture or two when I get it.
To be fair, it's not so much my expectations, more his false promises. Not great advert for ogden there!
In this modern world of social media and Internet shopping, I'm surprised he wasnt more sympathetic to his customer's expectations!
Been there with an order for non shooting stuff! If they didn`t make unrealistic promises everyone would be much happier !To be fair, it's not so much my expectations, more his false promises.
Had he told me from the off that my order was so low in his priorities and of such little consequence; ie that he'd do it when he could, I would have accepted the delay.
However, it was he who said that it would take 10 days. Then 3 weeks later he was still saying the same thing.
The fact that he did not seem to grasp that I had a reason to question him, and he actually stated that he was doing me a favour, that's what annoyed me.
Simple really, in any business you MUST use best endevours to deliver on your promises. If you can't, then it might be OK, but it's never OK to simply ignore the customer or worse still, make the customer wish that they had never bothered contacting you in the first place.
Good price! Got a picture?£130.............horrendously expensive to protect a £2500 gun? Nah.
