Beretta S55 any good for trap shooting?

I have a Beretta S55 o/u with full and 3/4 chokes it has twin triggers and is a non ejector I use it for sporting currently but have just bought a sporterised Miroku 3800 with 1/4 and 1/2 chokes. I intend to use the miroku for sporting and the beretta for trap. Any thoughts anyone? Ian
