I used to have a scan through it everyday but like you I find it useless at the moment. I emailed them about it but got no reply.
The trade must be really missing it as when doing any gun dealing the first thing they all did was look at guntrader for pricing.

I had an advert that was wrong and in the format it appeared it would have been near impossible to find it on a general search. I logged on and tried to amend it but it was impossible (the old site let you make amendments). I emailed them without response. I phoned several times many times they did not answer , but on two occasions when they did, they slammed down the phone after a couple of seconds.

I don't know who runs this site, but in my opinion they are treating the gun trade with contempt. They have a monopoly product and are just sitting back and watching us mugs had over money and giving us no customer care.

I will not advertise with them again, I wish some of the bigger trade customers would also realise this site gives them poor service and do the same. I have said it before, they seem a bunch of shysters.

Interesting.

Since the format changed it is more difficult.

However, sold a gun recently and all went well.

Miss the view counter though, as you don't now know how popular your listing is.

Also used it to research guns and found it helpful, once I'd got the knack of a few things.

Still the biggest outlet available for a 'whole of market' view.

But I have heard a few people having problems with it so can only give my experiences.

Which over the last couple of years have been good.

Maybe it would be worth setting up a better site! It's not difficult to be better than they are. The administrators of this website should see the opportunity!

Personally I'd always found things sold better through Gun Trader than Gun Star though, with the current mess Gun Trader is, I wouldn't bother to either buy or sell through it now. Gun Star seems to have most of the virtues we used to get with Gun Trader so will be my first choice from now on

Although I have not bought or sold off Guntrader for some time, I have used it daily to watch a gun that I am thinking of buying. I do not find it difficult to use, but I am just searching one make and model of gun. I am however somewhat computer ILLiterate.

Good idea, it should also be quite lucrative too.

Now that it’s working ok again, what do you find the issue is with it? I appreciate there’s an awful lot of posts with pictures missing and unless I’m mistaken, it looks like many advertisements have disappeared. Not sure if they just haven’t renewed.
When I visit now it appears to do the job ok?? I do like the fact that there aren’t 20 different descriptions for the same gun.

The equipment searches still don't work which is annoying. I had been looking at beretta stocks but can no longer find them.

Just checked out Tigger Traders and they look to have a far better site than gun trader. Their pricing structure is very good too as they are obviously looking to attract trade. I hope they expand , I will certainly use them soon after the way I was treated last time on gun trader.

I saw the flyer in my rfd saying they were now on TriggerTraders. Suggests there is a push to add more to the platform. Either way I too looked and liked it. Good to have options.

It`s very poor to use now .How can the owners not see that ? Baffling....
Guntrader is now a great example of someone ignoring the old adage "If it ain't broke, don't fix it'. If they don't want to acknowledge they have massively cocked up, we just all use Gunstar. Gunstar became the superior site by just staying exactly as they were.

Just checked gun trader they have 1538 live private adds at £15 per month alone. They are raking it in and yet will not answer e.mails or phone calls.
