I was told the trigger was set at 3lbs on the Miroku I used, lively! It felt much lighter than my Beretta, quite a difference as I shot a round of Skeet straight after. How much does a gunsmith usually charge for the trigger to be lightened?

Interesting, thanks. Yes it was a standard MK38 grade1 apart from the trigger had been lightened.

Thanks for the advice Les. The thing that struck me straight away was how light the 32" barrels felt, being a short arse I imagined it would feel cumbersome but it was quite the opposite. Could you tell me the difference between the MK38 and the 3800?

I had a go at Trap for the first time on Saturday morning. DTL, really enjoyed it.  :) Another member of Notts GC kindly brought one of his trap guns for me to use, a Miroku MK38, very nice.

Like you Chris I'm new to the sport and intend to have a go at everything. Enjoying/frustrated by Skeet at the moment but have had a go at sporting and will be trying Trap for the first time on Saturday. :) It's all good fun!

Hi Harley, I've got major neck problems and have been using RC2 Competition 24g 9.5 without to many problems. I've also used 21g Hull Comp X 9's which won't give you any bother.
