First shots with an X-pad today. Have been using Kickeez for a number of years, no complaints, not bad. But the X-pad is very different, didn't get that feeling of being slightly 'off the gun' from recoil or bounce for a quick 2nd barrel.Very blustery day for OT so plenty of quick adjustments with follow up shots were needed. Usually Quite sceptical of bullsh*t marketing claims, but fair play these pads are the daddies.

After my first week with my ISIS 2 and ISIS Xpad I can only say I will never shoot without them again. Scores have improved, zero fatigue and massive reduction I shoulder pain. Just wish the surgeon would hurry up and operate on me.

I would say at least 80% reduction in recoil, no muzzle flip and quicker / easier second target acquisition. It's a no brainier folks.

Glad you like them. Dave is a genius when making comfort for shooters.

The X pad is the best yet.

Spoke to Dave today at length, what thoroughly nice chap and a real gentleman, and to boot knowledgeable about recoil to the nth degree. Ill continue to support him where possible, this chap knows his onions so to speak and we are damn lucky to have him in the UK

Sorry to bump an old thread but having has a thin isis fitted to my sporter (its excellent) and a recently acquiring a trap gun which needs fitting i would like an isis fitted thinking Xpad, but is the adjustable the way to go?

I am pretty sure the gun fit needs tweaking and am wondering if the adjustable will do the trick? I think the LOP might be a bit short with standard trap pad so thinking adjustable X-pad?

Fitted an Isis adjustable pad about 6 months ago, helps with gun placement in the shoulder and hasn't effected balance due to its lightness. Well made bit of kit IMHO.

"that's when the fight started"

Thanks the trap pad that us coming off isn't "light" hopefully about the same weight so not to upset the balance.

I have the thinnest pad and it comes to about 20mm the same as the one I replaced, something to think about.

I was hoping to increase the length slightly and the standard pad is quite long 25mm ish and don't want to loose any length.

Hi, I replaced the standard 'trap' pad on my Miroku with the Isis pad of the same thickness. The Isis pad was lighter and the balance had shifted forward slightly. I simply made a spacer from some sheet lead cut to the shape and size of the wood and fitted this between pad and wood, job done.

Have an adjustable green pad on Mrs gun . super bit of kit . the adjustment is easy and quick . only prob is no marks on it any where so difficult to reset in exactly same place if it needs to come off. Maybe scribe a mark on yourself. But a really nice bit of kit . also have an x pad on my gun now for a few months/approx 1000 shells and its superb . better than standard green pad. Very happy.

You can scribe marks ...i have done that with my new evocomp X pad. And, i have to say that the new X pad is even better than the prototype of the X pad that I tested. Another slight change made that makes it even better.
