I've watched her before when I've been at the same shoot and she shoots well. Would imagine that's a PB though.Amazing! Drugs test ordered.

Met a very excited lady outside the clubhouse who asked me to check her card. I reassured her that it was indeed 87 and congratulations were forthcoming. Knowing that at that point 85 was leading I went to the desk and asked them to enter her score so she would be High Gun albeit for a probable short time and that she could take a picture.Had a look at the scores. Congratulations to Britta Beach on her 87, that's a cracking score.
I've shot around with her on quite a few occasions. I know she has hit an 86 at Horne but I can't recall an 87 so I think you maybe right. She shoots the long stuff really well but struggles (like most of us) with consistency. Looking at the EJC scores that is a cracking result and still only joint 1st in C!!!I've watched her before when I've been at the same shoot and she shoots well. Would imagine that's a PB though.
Probably took longer to argue the fact than just type it in the computer.Met a very excited lady outside the clubhouse who asked me to check her card. The woman behind the counter flat out refused to do so claiming that she was too busy and instructed me to deposit her card in the box. I attempted to plead to her better nature but nope, she was having none of it. Very disappointing.
Some people have no idea.
Still she was totally over the moon and rightly so. Cracking score indeed.
A real shame that, until recently have always previously thought the EJC staff were a very friendly / good bunch, however last few visits the office staff do seem to all to be rather lacking in, dare one say “customer service skills” a air of indifference has developed, lovely place & ground indeed it is, staff for me are losing some of the charm of days gone by.Met a very excited lady outside the clubhouse who asked me to check her card. My struggle is different. I can fairly consistently hit mid-70's scores, but have only once broken the 80 barrier. Every time I get close I have an attack of the wobbles and stuff it up. I expect it'll come eventually.I've shot around with her on quite a few occasions. I know she has hit an 86 at Horne but I can't recall an 87 so I think you maybe right. Yes refs are usually always top notch and many you see elsewhere reffing. As for office staff - I like them all but I was trying to think of any other grounds with score boards and I visit many where they would not have done that to make someone’s day and I can’t think of one. Gun room - Jonathan must have been away.In defense of EJC have to say special mention must be made of their scorers, all mature, seasoned adults and immaculately/appropriately turned out too, it was a delight to see and the reffing was generally top draw. Regarding the shop staff, yes maybe they have a slight air of office efficiency rather than the chitchat of a burger van lady which we're more used to but then they must get an awful lot of old money walking in and out there compared to the mixed bunch that is your typical reg crowd. I adore the place including the (ever so slightly) pompous reception one gets in the gun room.

Me too. Started up on Stand 9, got frozen and stayed that way. Had two incidences of trigger flinch and by the end was really struggling to move smoothly I was so cold. Finished on 47. Shot the same ground (different targets) on Saturday - at least 7 degrees warmer and 8 more on my score.Willow Farm for me this morning. Arrived early just as the heavens decided to open, a bitterly cold wind didn’t make things any easier.
I got cold and frustrated and ended up on a 53/70 so not very happy with the result but enjoyed the targets none the less.
Stand 9 was by far the coldest with the wind and sleet driving straight into your face, not overly pleasant.Me too. Started up on Stand 9, got frozen and stayed that way.
